Turn on your car radio
Make sure the radio is powered on and showing "SAFE" or the code entry screen.
Press buttons 1 + 6 together
Press and hold preset buttons 1 and 6 simultaneously for 3-5 seconds.
Tip: Some models use 2+6 or 1+4. Try different combinations if 1+6 doesn't work.
Read serial number from display
The display will show 1-2 codes. Look for the 14-character code starting with VWZ (VW), AUZ (Audi), SKZ (Skoda), or SEZ (Seat).

Get Radio Removal Keys

Find Serial Number on Label

Clarion Radio Serial Number Guide
Serial Number Format
Model starts with P, Serial is the LAST 7 characters of Serial No field

Clarion radios require removal to access the back label. Remove trim panels and extract the radio unit.
Find Model Number
On the back label, find "Model" - it starts with "P" (e.g., PN-2871M). This is required for Clarion radios.
Find Serial Number (LAST 7 CHARACTERS)
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Find "Serial No" on the label. We only need the LAST 7 characters of this field. For example, if Serial No is "12345678ABC1234", we need "BC1234" (or the actual last 7).
💡 Tip: Count from the right! The last 7 characters are what we need, not the first 7.
